About Me

I am a fully qualified humanistic and integrative psychotherapist and counsellor based in Draycott, Derbyshire.

I earned my BSc (Hons) degree in humanistic and integrative counselling and psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute in Nottingham, and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I work with adults from diverse backgrounds, supporting them through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, neurodivergence and relationship difficulties.

Through my work, I am continually inspired by the resilience, strength and growth of those I support. Whatever someone is seeking, it’s an honour to walk alongside clients in their journey.

My Approach

The quality of the relationship between therapist and client is essential for fostering positive change. I draw upon a range of relational therapeutic theories to meet the unique needs of each individual, appreciating the distinctiveness of every human experience. My approach is rooted in genuine curiosity to understand each person from their own perspective.

Working together, we build a safe and trusting space to explore thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. This helps to expand awareness, make sense of experiences, increase personal autonomy and cultivate positive change.

I have a particular interest in developmental trauma, which arises from repeated misattunements, unmet relational or attachment needs, or abuse during childhood. These early experiences may feel like not being seen or heard, and they can manifest as physical, mental or emotional challenges in adulthood. My aim is to help clients understand and work through these patterns to support their healing and growth.
